Candles Afterburners
Fluff The vapour which sometimes appears over the wings when a jet turns. Caused by the Prandtl-Glauert Singularity effect.
IPA Instrumented Production Aircraft
Ribbons The trail of vapour from the tips of a jet's wings. Caused by the Prandtl-Glauert Singularity effect.
Shiny Two Nickname for RAF No2 Squadron. In low fly circles, usually refers to Panavia Tornado GR4 Serial ZD748
Ship An aircraft - e.,g 'a 2 ship' means 2 aircraft together
Tiffy Nickname for a Eurofighter Typhoon
Tonka Nickname for a Panavia Tornado
Wokka Nickname for a Chinook Helicopter
